My Prayer For You

A Prayer for Day 20

Our Father And Our God,

We come before You today in awe of Your greatness and majesty. You are holy, righteous, and sovereign over all creation. The heavens declare Your glory, and the earth is filled with Your goodness. Lord, we thank You for Your endless grace, mercy, and love. You are the giver of life, the sustainer of our souls, and the One who holds all things together.

Thank You for waking us up today, for the gift of life, and for the blessings that we so often take for granted. Thank You for the roof over our heads, the food on our tables, and the strength You provide to face each day. Most of all, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ, who gives us hope, purpose, and eternal life.

We ask for forgiveness of our failures, for our missteps and for all the times we have missed the mark. Help us understand that as we ask for forgiveness from you we too must forgive those who have wronged us. Speak Lord to our hearts that we may forgive as you have forgiven us.

We come before You today with humble hearts, lifting up those who are struggling in so many ways. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble, and we call on You now for Your divine intervention.

We pray for those battling sickness. Lord, be their Healer and Sustainer. Touch their bodies with Your healing power, renew their minds with peace, and strengthen their spirits to trust in Your unfailing love.

We lift up those facing financial struggles, Father. Be their Provider and make a way where there seems to be no way. Give them the wisdom to manage their resources and the courage to trust You in the waiting.

For those seeking employment or dealing with challenges in their work, we ask for Your guidance and provision. Open doors of opportunity that align with Your will for their lives, and give them peace in the waiting.

We pray for parents facing challenges with their children. Grant them patience, wisdom, and strength as they guide their families. For children who are hurting, lost, or struggling, draw them close to You and shield them with Your love and protection.

For those making difficult decisions, be their Counselor, Lord. Let Your Word be their guide, and grant them clarity, discernment, and peace in knowing You are directing their paths.

We lift up our country, Father. In the midst of division and turmoil, we ask for Your hand of unity, healing, and righteousness. Raise up leaders who seek Your will and serve with integrity and compassion.

For those mourning the loss of children, Lord, be their Comforter. Wrap them in Your loving arms, remind them of the hope we have in Christ, and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also pray for those struggling to hear from You, Lord. Remind them that You are always near, even in silence. Help them to trust that what seems to be a “no” is really just a “not yet,”and to rest in Your perfect timing. Draw them closer to You, renewing their faith and intimacy with You.

For those battling addiction and depression, Father, be their Deliverer and their Light in the darkness. Break the chains that bind them, restore their hope, and surround them with a community of support and love. Let them feel Your presence and know they are not alone.

Lord, in all these struggles, may Your presence bring comfort, Your power bring breakthrough, and Your love bring hope. Remind us that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Speak Lord, I pray we are listening!

In Jesus’ name, we pray,
Amen.

I Love you and there ain’t nothing you can do about it!
